On Sunday, Shaq rapped some lyrics that have spread around the web faster than Phoenix got bumped out of the playoffs. "You know how I be. Last week Kobe couldn’t do without me." TMZ had the video, the newspapers had copy, and even we here at the L.A. Times had a story. Here’s an excerpt:
Here’s another snippet of what he said Sunday, in which he suggests Bryant’s comments were a factor in O’Neal’s separating from his wife, Shaunie: "I’m a horse. Kobe ratted me out. That’s why I’m getting divorced. He said Shaq gave a [woman] a mil[lion dollars]. I don’t do that ’cause my name’s Shaquille."
Apparently Shaq is still thinking about Kobe and smarting from their breakup. Not only that, but he’s blaming the MVP for his divorce.

Kobe did rat him out like a sissy but jeez, get over it already. It’s only millions and millions and millions of dollars you had to give the wifey in the divorce!!! We’re giving you 22 next season! As a Suns fan, I can truly say, I wish there was some way we could trade your fat, un-tradeable but!!
Give it up already. Shaq needs to learn how to let things go. First off don’t diss the greats. Another thing don’t get mad at Kobe because he didn’t tell you to cheat on your wife. Finally, your wack and need to prepare for retirement…asap!
I am so over Shaq and his crap. This latest Shaq-rant just goes to show what an immature, over-the-hill basketball player he has been and has become. Apparently his mother didn’t teach him this one basic lesson - If you don’t know what to say, shut up!!! I feel sorry for the Suns, but mostly I feel sorry for his kids. Those poor children will grow up and someday learn all these negative things about their father. That’s just horrible. Shaq should be so completely ashamed of himself he should take out an entire page in the LA Times to apologize to Kobe, the fans, and mostly to his children for being such an idiot. Shaq has hit an all-new low and has become the epitome of ghetto trash. It’s time he start trying to set a positive example for his children.
